Advanced Call Waiting lets you turn call waiting on and off for a certain time period you determine - whenever you want. After that time period, call waiting is re-activated on automatically. So you can set it and forget it.
You can also set Advanced Call Waiting based on a weekly schedule. You can turn off call waiting for certain days or at certain times, even in 15 minute increments. Just set it once and never worry about it again.
"We are retired and stay at home most days. Our kids and grandkids tend to call us in the evenings and we dislike getting interrupted by call waiting. We use this feature to turn off Call Waiting in the evening between 6 and 9 when they tend to call."
