The communities surrounding the SCTelcom offices in Kiowa and Medicine Lodge came out in full force to show support for their local schools.
SCTelcom developed the book drive to help schools in their communities raise money and gather new or used books to help the libraries to be a better resource for the years to come. The Medicine Lodge and Kiowa offices combined to raise 63 books in support of South Barber and Medicine Elementary Schools . Both schools were in need of books from early childhood through the second grade.
"It was great to see how well the community backed this project," said Sandra Waller, regional accounting manager for SCTelcom.
The employees of SCTelcom would like to thank everyone who helped make this book drive a success.
Note: SCTelcom has made it more convenient to pay your bill. Drop boxes have been installed in both the Medicine Lodge and Kiowa offices. Now you will be able to drop off your payment anytime day or night. The Medicine Lodge drop box is located at 101 S. Main and is just inside the entryway of the building. The Kiowa office is located at 717 Main St.
